Information sharing

When you register as a patient, your details are passed to the Tyne and Wear Contractor Services Agency, which will update its records and transfer your medical records from your previous GP. In addition, other parts of the National Health Service may access your personal information. For example, if you are receiving hospital treatment the hospital may seek details of your relevant medical history.
